CHECK ALL THOROUGHLY!
In practice this means ensuring your skin looks as you’re expecting it to & that the sizing is correct for your particular drum skin.
EVERYTHING’S GOOD TO GO?
Just let me know you approve all & want to proceed to production & I’ll get going . . . I’ll get going . . .
CHANGES ARE NEEDED?
Let me know what needs amending via Email & I’ll do the necessary, either sending over an amended visual or calling you to discuss the finer points
I’d generally expect to have your new skin completed within a week of receiving your approval to proceed to production, & will drop you a line the moment it’s en-route to you to let you know its ETA.
TEMPLATES
The diameter of your skin is measured in inches is generally between 20-24 inches. If you require a different size, just let me know as I can cut to any size
Ports are generally between 4-6 inches in diameter, & I’ve used a clock face to make life easy when positioning. Naturally I’ll Email you a visual of your finished skin before commencing production, to ensure you’re happy with all, including port size & placement.
If all matches we’re good to go, & if not then simply let me know what changes are required via Email so I can amend the artwork accordingly. Simples. Done.

Yep, that’s right, GIG.INK is essentially a one-man band, with all instruments played by me, Tim.
BUYING AS A GIFT?
Now, you’d think a bass drum resonant head sticky print would be just like buying a big sticker right? Oh no – diameter & port position come into play, along with whether the finish should be matt or glossy.
Clearly this is a potential problem if you’re buying a print as a surprise gift – so can I cordially lovingly politely absolutely definitely maybe insist that if you’re not 100% sure of exactly what size & configuration are required, then simply be prepared to present your loved one with a lovely colour printed visual of their skin, so they can triple-check all the finer nerdy points about design & fit themselves.
Hey look, I know that some folks don’t know the difference between a tom & a timpani or hi-hats & hot rods – so I offer vouchers to let your loved one design their new skin just the way they want – you’ll find them HERE – but do get in touch if you’d like advice as I’m here to help.
